This gray-morph Screech Owl is bundled in a plain white towel, carried by a vet staffer. Hands sporting a pair of bluebell medical gloves hold the bundle of combined owl and towel aloft for the camera. One of the owl's eyes is shut due to injury, but the other is open, pupil as wide as a dinner plate.

I work at a small animal general practice & urgent care veterinary hospital in Boynton Beach Florida. Earlier this month, a pair of women going to lunch in the plaza came in stating there was an owl in a random cars front grill in the parking lot. We were able to get him un-stuck and provide him with oxygen, pain meds, and X-rays. His leg was broken, which we splinted, and eye injured. I drove him up to Busch Wildlife Sanctuary in Jupiter Florida and found out he is an Eastern Screech Owl.

Link to donate to Busch Wildlife Sanctuary for those willing and able.
