Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, Tasmania

This little owl was found on the side of the road with a laceration on his foot, but luckily, he was rushed to our partners at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary
for treatment. While in care, the team had Rocket do a flight test, where he was flying, perching and resting his wings relatively well. After doing some additional testing, they determined his injuries were most likely sustained from a car strike.

The vet team made a small splint for his fractured toe and are crossing their fingers he continues to make good progress in his recovery. The hope is that he should be ready to go #BackToTheWild in the near future! 💜☁️
