“Injured wing, probably from a car. Sometimes when they first arrive in rehab, they don’t eat. We offer food (whole dead mouse or chick). If they decline we offer a few bites with tongs; they’ll usually remember that eating is good.”

It was reported this owl was released back to where it was found.
