Original text:
Our gorgeous little Boobook Owl is doing really well in care. She was rescued by the beautiful Krysti [at @RescueRehabilitateRelease]. We are unsure how she was injured but she had some nasty wounds to her right side. The TVS team [Travelling Veterinary Service operated by Wildlife Victoria] were available to attend yesterday and luckily her X-rays were clear. She is on a course of antibiotics and pain relief for the severe bruising. Today she is bright as a button and has improved tremendously from when she first arrived.
For those wishing to donate, Boobook Wildlife Shelter accepts transfers to the bank account no. listed on their Facebook page.
