These two White-faced owl chicks were both found at the side of a busy road in a nearby town. It is unknown why they came to be there, but no nest or parents were close by. The chicks have grown up quickly and are now eating independently which is an exciting step in the rehabilitation process! Once they are old enough they will be released, but that is still in a while away ✨
