A Eurasian Scops Owl was found being pecked at by crows in a park in Skopje, North Macedonia. Thankfully it was rescued and later released thanks to the efforts of Irina Tosheva and Velian Jagev.

Поминав 13 часа со Бувритце, по спасувањето утрото од клуновите на враните во Жена парк. Откако му најдов безбеден простор да се опорави од траумата и малку храна, вечерта ја врати силата и полета назад во своето природно живеалиште 😌 🦉
Со огромна помош од @vjagev се запознав со светот на бувовите и уште еднаш потсетив колку секое живо суштество е извонредно на свој начин.

I spent 13 hours with Buvritse, after rescuing him from the beaks of crows in the morning in Žena Park. After finding a safe space to recover from the trauma and some food, in the evening he regained his strength and flew back to his natural habitat 😌 🦉
With great help from @vjagev I got acquainted with the world of owls and was once again reminded how extraordinary every living creature is in its own way.

It is a species that is not very common in Portugal, and, being a summer bird, it is mainly observed between March and September ☀
